newyorčanka: the blog

Yes, we’re almost packed and ready to go. We leave on Wednesday and, as promised, I will be blogging in English while we’re overseas so that many more of you can read (and actually understand) what I’m writing about. I plan to post many photos of Croatia, as well, but they will live on my photoblog. When commenting on this blog, in the first field of the form, type (or copy and paste) the word jabuka. I know that many of you have been wondering what this blog is all about. Normally, it’s about a Croatian in New York City. For the next three weeks, it’ll be about an (almost) New Yorker in Croatia.
